Madlyn Irene Eimers 83 of Maple City, died, Monday, April 7, 2014.

She was born in Yale, Michigan the daughter of Charles Wellington and Thelma Marion (Hartway) Barrigar.

Madlyn was formerly employed with the Leelanau School in Glen Arbor. She was a baker and quilt maker and owned her own store in Glen Arbor before retiring.

Madlyn enjoyed making Quilts, Crocheting and Knitting. In her retirement years she made hats and mittens for local charities and churches.

Madlyn is survived by her children; Gary (Sandy) Clink of Florida: Robert (Jules) Eimers of Vancouver; Deborah Rock; David (Mary) Eimers of Lake Ann; Dennis (Darla) Eimers of Traverse City and Tammy (Steve) Collins of Holland, Brother-in-law; Dale Beecher of Holly; sister-in-law, Kennijean Barrigar of North Branch; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; many cousins; nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; they were married on April 15, 1953 in Saginaw; son, Larry Clink; brothers, Donald and Gerald Barrigar; sister Beverly; parents; Charles and Thelma Barrigar; step-mother; Lydia Barrigar; grandchildren; Jeremy Rock and Marissa Clink and great-grandchild, Charles Clink

Cremation will take place. The family will remember her privately. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity ones choice.
