Louise Eichholz

Louise C. Eichholz, age 79, of Kankakee, IL passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at River North (Bradley Royale) Nursing Home in Bradley, IL. She was born on February 28, 1935 in St. Anne, IL the daughter of Fred and Louise Eichholz. Louise graduated from St Mary’s School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse having worked for 35 years before her retirement in 2006. She spent 20 years working for Dr. Bedard, and 15 years working for Provena split between St. Mary’s Hospital and Heritage Village. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, St. Mary’s Alum, and past member of the Kankakee County Humane Society. Louise enjoyed spending her time going to garage sales and also loved animals and planting flowers.

Louise is survived by her brothers Fred Eichholz of Manteno, IL and Kenneth (Marie) Eichholz of Bourbonnais, IL, several nieces and nephews and a dear friend Mickey King of Reddick, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Louise, a sister Nancy, and sister-in-law Ruth.

An inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Anne Cemetery in St. Anne, IL.
