Mildred P. Adams, age 84, of Bourbonnais, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Kankakee. Mildred was born on March 18, 1929 to Charles and Ruby (Wooldridge) Cooper in Kankakee. Mildred married Lloyd Adams on October 27, 1951 in Bradley. Lloyd died in March of 2002. Mildred was a homemaker. She enjoyed walking, sewing, embroidering, cooking and baking.
Mildred is survived by her two daughters, Debra Adams of Bourbonnais and Valerie Adams of Bourbonnais; two sons, Glen (Judy) Adams of NC and Rickie (Chris) Adams of Merrillville, IN; three grandchildren, two brothers, Harold (Janet) Cooper of Kankakee and Gerald (Margaret) Cooper of FL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lloyd Adams; one daughter, Marcia Sue Adams; one brother, Edward Cooper and one sister, Violet Percell.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service for Mildred will take place at a later date.
