Dennis Broughman

BROUGHAM, DENNIS M. Dennis M. Brougham, aged 71, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, brother, Richard, sister, Susie Underhill, daughter-in-law, Terry Brougham, grandchildren, Kevin and Austin, and great granddaughter, Venessa. He is survived by his brother, Leo and Louise Brougham; brother-in-law, Lenny and Sue Underhill; his children, Pat and Sandy Brougham, Mike Brougham, Tim and Vicky Brougham, Ellen and John Mulder, Kathy Brougham, Dennis and Michelle Brougham; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and special friend, Jackie Thomas. He was a proud active member of Teamsters Local 406 and was on the executive board with his good friend Pat Burns. Dennis was a member of the Casino Club, AmVets Post 126, Moose Lodge #763, and the 5th Street Hall. He retired after 30 years from Consolidated Freight. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 10:00 am at the Shrine of St. Frances Xavier & Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Jose Luis Quintana, Celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE, Sunday from 6 to 8 pm and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm; Rosary Monday 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
