Ruth Bolhuis

BOLHUIS, RUTH ELOISE Hudsonville Ruth Eloise Bolhuis passed to eternal peace with her Savior, Jesus Christ, at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ruth Lowing, and her husband, Henry Bolhuis. She is survived by her brother, Douglas and Ginny Lowing; her children, David and Joyce Bolhuis, Ruthann and Lynn Brown, Mark and Doreen Bolhuis, William and Judy Bolhuis. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Ruth Eloise was born in Bauer, Michigan, and attended a two-room elementary school. She graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in 1939. She married Henry Bolhuis in 1940 and was married for 41 years before his passing. Ruth worked as a secretary for Gemmen's for many years while raising her four children. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the VanderLaan Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Walcott officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family at the VanderLaan Funeral Home on Monday from 10 to 11 A.M.
