Robert E. Handy, age 85 of Portage died peacefully June 10, 2013 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Bob was born April 23, 1928 in Indianapolis, IN to Walter S. & Dorotha (Elvin) Handy. Bob said the two best decisions he ever made were marrying his wife the former Betty Crummie and taking a job at the Upjohn Company where he retired in 1989 as the Director of Advertising. He is survived by his wife Betty, his children Greg R. (Cathy) Handy and Nancy E. Handy; his grandchildren Erin (Zach) Stahl, Joshua (Amber) Handy, Ryan Lytle and Zach (Jessica) Lytle; his great-grandchildren Chloe, Gretchen, Hunter and Hannah as well as many other relatives. Memorial services for Bob will be held on Saturday August 24th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Life Story Funeral Homes; Portage, 5975 Lovers Lane (344-5600), Visit www.lifestorynet.com where you archive a memory or photo, or sign the guest book.
