Geraldine Brandsen

Geraldine Brandsen, age 86, of Zeeland, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, May 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, in 2005; her sister and husband, Syl-via and Jim Schippers; in-laws, Louise Brand-sen, Julia and Marvin Maatman, Charlotte and Ben Brandsen. Geraldine is survived by her three sons, Gary Brandsen of Marenisco, Calvin (Sally) Brandsen of Zeeland, Carl Brand-sen of Hudsonville; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Bernard and Joyce Balder of Zeeland; in-laws, Sidney Brand-sen of Holland, Florence and Donald Van Hook of Hudsonville, Harold and Karen Brandsen of Zeeland, Carla Brandsen of Zeeland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 23, at Borculo Christian Re-formed Church. The Rev-erend Stephen Terpstra will officiate. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednes-day at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. Burial will be in Borculo Cem-etery. Memorial contri-butions may be given to Bibles for Mexico or Bor-culo Christian Reformed Church Mission Fund
