Rosalind Westra, 83, died May 16, 2013 with her family by her side. Rose was a dedicated wife, caring mother and loving grandmother and great grandmother. Rose was born August, 15 1929 in Noblesville, IN the daughter of John and Annadean (Payne) Earl and has been an area resident most of her life. She was united in marriage for 65 years to her loving husband, Martin "Marty" Westra who survives. Also surviving are her children, Shirley (Dale) Hays, Martin (Janet) Westra, Teresa (Ted) Pilecki; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rose was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Valesquez. Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick.Friends may meet with the family Tuesday from 10-11. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
