Gerald L. Zalewski, Gerry, age 84, passed away at home June 22, 2012. Preceded in death by his brothers Edward and Richard. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Helen. Beloved father of Gary (Vicki), Stanley (Shelley), Diane (Michael) Mac, Michele (Dr. Michael) Morris, Paulette (Kevin) Cunningham, Matthew (Jennica) and Mark (Linda). Cherished grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 3. Visitation: Family will receive friends at the Neely-Turowski Funeral Home 30200 Five Mile (btn Merriman and Middlebelt) on Tuesday 3-9 pm Rosary: Tuesday, 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Suzanne Our Lady Gate of Heaven Catholic Church,9357 Westwood Street, Detroit, MI 48228, on Wednesday at 10:00 am with in state from 9-10 am.
