OBITUARY:

Karen Susan Zukaitis, age 58, of Fruitport passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at a Muskegon Hospital. She was born August 18, 1947 to Felix and Gladys (Dauksza) Zukaitis in Grand Rapids, MI. Karen was a 1965 graduate of Grand Haven High School and had been a realtor, retiring in 2001 from Wonderland Realty in Florida. Karen enjoyed her grandchildren, loved to play Keno and she loved her dogs. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Britta Cleveland of Fruitport; two granddaughters, Kailey and Rachel; and brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Gladys Zukaitis. A funeral service for Karen S. Zukaitis will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at Spring Lake Presbyterian Church with Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating. Friends may meet the family 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at the VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake.
