OBITUARY:

BLAAUW, BETTY Betty Blaauw, age 91, originally from Chicago, currently of Grand Rapids, was peacefully called to her heavenly home on Friday, August 17, 2012. Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to laugh and spend time with her family. She will be remembered with great fondness and joy by her children and grandchildren, Bev and Neil Sullivan (Tirza, Cortney and Tracy), Bonnie and Bob Rodgers (Tara) and Harold and Ruth Ann Blaauw (Jim and Katie, Jeff and Will); great grandchildren, Kiley, Jasper, Piper and Ireland; sisters Mae (John) Van Deraa, Jean (Harry) Helmus; sister-in- law, Chris Elders; many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00am in the Chapel of Raybrook Manor, 2121 Raybrook SE, Grand Rapids, MI with Rev. Aupperlee officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Bible League or the Christian Reformed World Relief Fund.
