Florence (Achterhof) Justine

LIFESTORY:

Florence (Achterhof) Justine, age 91 of Zeeland, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at her home.

Florence was born in Portage, MI on October 14, 1920. She had worked at Holland Hospital for many years. Florence attended Pillar Church and was a former member of Fourth Reformed Church.

Florence was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald Achterhof in 1978 and Alvin Justine in 2004.

Surviving are her children, Janice and Warren Kimmel of Shelbyville, Charles and Kay Achterhof of Big Rapids, and Chris Achterhof of Tulsa, OK; stepchildren, Donald and Debra Justine of MO, Artie (Arthur) Justine of Boonville, MO, and Janice and Robert De Weerd of Boonville, MO; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several step grandchildren, and several step great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sandra Nie of Portage; nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday at Pillar Church, 57 East 10th Street, with Rev. Dick Stravers officiating.

Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 7-9 pm Friday at the Dykstra Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street.
