Carrie lived a couple of houses down from my family in San Jose, CA. Lillian's kids and my kids spent a lot of time together. I never saw Carrie without a smile on her face. I am so sorry she passed away and my heart goes out to her family.

So sorry to hear of Carrie's passing. I grew up with Carrie, Jim, John and the whole family. Our families were very close, along with the Sanchez family kids. Wishing you all the best in this terribel time of sorrow.

I worked with Carrie at Appledorn as her supervisor. She was a wonderful care giver. My best memory of her is her wonderful smile. I am so sad to hear of her death, please accept my deepest sympathy.

I met Carrie about 7 years ago, while Tammy was at Holland High. She loved her children and would always make sure that they were doing the best that they could in school. She was their biggest fan! She was ready to give you a hug everytime she saw you.
Tammy, looking at your moms pictures, she passed on to you, her beautiful face and great smile! (I had to look twice at a couple of them to make sure it was her and not you!), so she will on through you! I am so sorry for your loss. Although no words can really help ease the pain your family is going through, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you can feel the hugs that I am sending you!

I met Carrie about 7 years ago, while working at Resthaven. We dveloped a friendship and were co-workers, as I worked as a charge nurse there at the time. The love she expressed for her family and friends will always be remembered, she had a big heart and will be missed greatly. She and I would often run in to each other at Meijers, and spend time trying to catch upon time missed. May God keep her close, I will miss you. God bless your family.

I was blessed to meet Carrie during Tammie's senior year at Holland High. I loved her smile and her laugh, they always filled the room with a truly spirited and infectious vibe. She was her children’s and a few others biggest fan. I loved that she made sure Tammie always had goodie bags for herself and others for every game. But what I loved most about Carrie was her big heart. I have always been grateful to her and Jerry for opening their hearts up to a "lost" teenage boy and giving him a place to call home.
Although no words can really help ease the loss your family bears, just know your family is very close in every thought and prayer.

As a nurse at RestHaven care center I often worked with Carrie in the Good Shepherd home. I was always thankful when she was there as I knew the residents were being cared for by a very special person. She was always cheerful, thorough in her work and did the very best she could for her patients.
May God grant you comfort in this very great loss. With my sympathy, Sarah Unzicker

Carrie was always so kind and thoughtful..smiling and ready with a hug. She was working at Resthaven Care Center on 40th when my father passed away. She was one of the first people I saw as I walked out of my father's room and embraced me and just let me cry. I will always be thankful for that.
Also, as the third grade teacher of her kids, I had the opportunity to work with her in that role. She loved her children and always was proud to share their updates when I ran into her. I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all.
