Kathryne 'Ann' Allegro

LIFESTORY:

Kathryne ‘Ann’ Allegro, age 65, of Kankakee passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital. Ann was born January 11, 1947 in Kankakee to the late Henry and Audrey (Washburn) Wulffe Jr. She married Carlo Allegro in 1967 and the two had two children together. Ann worked as an administrative assistant at St. Paul’s Episcopalian Church in Kankakee for 28 years until her retirement in 2010. She has been a life-long member of St. Paul’s Episcopalian Church in Kankakee, a P.E.O. sisterhood member, and a member of Mad Caps for several years. On top of cooking, planning organizing and decorating, Ann loved spending time with her family; especially her 3 grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her daughter Lisa (Greg) Foster of Bradley, IL., her three grandsons; Bennett, Christopher and Morgan, her two sisters; Mary Harrison of Evanston, IL. and Sally Wulffe of Boulder, CO., four nieces; Katie White, Sarah White, Jenny White and Libby Harrison and one nephew Wade Harrison. Ann is preceded in death by her daughter Amy Allegro and her parents.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kankakee. Inurnment will be private and at a later date.
