Jerome Milkie

LIFESTORY:

Jerome C. Milkie, age 63, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at his residence. Jerome was born in Racine, February 12, 1949, son of the late Jerome C. and Alice (Nee: Riekkoff) Milkie.

Jerome was a graduate of St. John Nepomuk Grade School and St. Catherine’s High School. He furthered his education by attending Milton College where he enjoyed playing football. On July 5, 2002 he was united in marriage to Kerry L. Pearce. He was self-employed working in construction. Jerome was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. In his earlier years he was a member of the Boy Scouts Drum & Bugle Corp. An avid outdoorsman, Jerome especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. Above all he cherished time spent with family and special friends at Buckatobon Lodge in northern Wisconsin. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kerry; his children, Angela Milkie, Sarah Milkie, Brian (Ruby) Milkie, Elaina Milkie; his three grandchildren, Cody, Catherine, and Jerome; brothers, Don (Joan) Milkie, Dick (Marion) Milkie, Bob (Evelyn) Milkie; special nephew, Michael Bidwell; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to Community Memorial Foundation (cancer care center), W180 N8085 Twon Hall Road, Memomonee Falls, WI 53051, or to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 333 N. Summit Street, P.O. Box 10086, Toledo, OH 43699-0086 have been suggested.
