Charlotte De Vries

OBITUARY:

Charlotte De Vries, age 87, of Zeeland, passed away, Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Hospice House of Hol­land.

Charlotte was a mem­ber of the Zeeland Liter­ary Club and a volunteer at International Aid. She was a member of Oak­land Christian Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jay Van Dam (1999), Gor­don De Vries (2008); and grandson, Brian Van Dam (1973).

She is survived by her children, Gloria Boerman of Zeeland, Ron and Bon­nie Van Dam of Zeeland, Jan Telgenhof of Flint, Howard and Cathy Van Dam of Newaygo, Carl and Beth Van Dam of Zeeland; 13 grandchildren; 25 great­grandchildren; six stepchil­dren; several stepgrand­children; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, at Oakland Christian Re­formed Church, 4452 38th Street, Hamilton. Officiat­ing will be Dr. Paul Bremer. Burial will be in Bentheim Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Lakeshore Memo­rial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland.

In lieu of flowers, memo­rial contributions may be given to Hospice of Hol­land.
