Bender, Barbara May
June 13, 2012. (nee Putterman) Barbara May Bender, 79, was a loving mother of her two daughters, Pamela Atkinson and Linda Bender, her two sons, James and Thomas Bender, and a loving mother-in-law to Jose Lüling and Jennifer Lukesh. Barbara was a loving grandmother whose grandchildren were five of the lights of her life: Talya and Yasmin, Dani and David, and Zinnia Rain. Barbara is survived by her dear sister, Nancy Malbin and loving sister-in-law, Natalie Soref. She was a beloved friend to many and we will miss her dearly.
A public memorial service will be held at Chai Point, 1400 N. Prospect Ave. On Friday, June 15th at 2:00 PM.. Anyone who wishes to honor the memory of Barbara M. Bender is welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The American Heart Association.
