LIFESTORY:
Eugene Colombo, 91, of Holland, died Monday May 28, 2012.
Gene was a World War Two Navy Veteran who worked at Ford Motor Company for 38 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor, and daughter, Jan Swart.
He is survived by his daughter Nancy and Bob Plocinik and son-in-law Edward and Carol Swart and grandchildren, Paul and Rachelle Swart, Rev. Mark Swart, and James Plocinik, and two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be at Our Lady of the Lake Church on Thursday, May 31, at 11:00 a.m. His body has been donated to the University of Michigan Medical School for teaching and research purposes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Red Cross of Ottawa County.
