Dorothy (Boelens) Clark

CLARK (BOELENS), DOROTHY Grandville Dorothy Clark (Boelens), age 80, of Grandville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 25, 2012 and now joins her husband, Ervin "Snooky", and her son, Jerry Clark who preceded her. Dorothy was a compassionate woman of faith whose desire was to serve her Lord and her family. She was a dedicated prayer warrior who always put others before herself. Her memory and legacy will be in our hearts and treasured for a lifetime. Surviving are her children, Henry and Linda Clark, Ginny and Tim Weidner; grandchildren, Jerry and Becky Clark, Kelly and Jason Briggs, Trisha and Ryan Howrigon, T.C. Weidner, Angela Anderson; great grandchildren, Erin, Brennon, Megan, Alyssa, Jordan; sister, Charlotte Helmer; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pat Clark, Sister Caroline Clark, Marie and Dan McGough, Barb and Bill Terrell; special niece, Linda and Ted Oosta; many other beloved nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Tuesday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1630 Godfrey Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Msgr. Ed Hankiewicz celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive where the rosary will be prayed at 8:45 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ryan and Trisha Howrigon to benefit Dorothy's granddaughter's upcoming adoption from Ethiopia.
