LIFESTORY:
Louise Elizabeth Rogers, age 84, of Holland died Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Hospice House of Holland.
Louise was born in Monette, Arkansas on April 19, 1928. She lived in Holland for 62 years. Louise was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. A beloved mother, homemaker, gardener and expert seamstress; she made many Dutch costumes. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Jewell Ballard.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Lloyd Cotton Rogers and children: Randy and Nancy Rogers of Kalamazoo, MI, Robin and Don Reef of Brighton, MI; grandchildren: Alex Rogers and Savannah and Grace Reef; sister: Mary Sue Adams of Searcy, Ark; sister-in-law: Bobbie Jean Wilson of Holland; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Northwood Chapel – Dykstra Funeral Homes 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland.
Reverend Michael Scholten will be officiating.
Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Northwood Chapel.
