Kathleen Rarey

Kathleen Rarey, age 59, of Bourbonnais, IL. passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Melrose Hospital. Kathleen was born in Chicago, IL. on March 20, 1952 to Donald Rollheiser and Barbara Booth. Kathleen attended Olivet Nazarene University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She worked at Good Shepard Manor as a Social Worker. Ms. Rarey was a very active member of the College Church. She enjoyed singing, swimming, and playing with her grandson. Kathleen was also a very caring and warm hearted person.

She is survived by her father; Donald (Pat) Rollheiser of Monticello, IN., mother; Barbara Booth of Alsip, IL., one son; Joe Rarey of Bourbonnais, IL., one daughter; Heather (Miguel) Cortes-Rarey of Bourbonnais, IL., one sister; Nancy (Tom) Ellis of Frankfort, IL., one brother; Donald (Lisa) Rollheiser Jr. of Palos Park, IL., one grandson Cristian Cortes-Rarey of Bourbonnais, IL. and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents and one uncle; Bob Rollheiser.

A gathering time for family and friends will be Tuesday, February 28. 2012 from 4p.m. until the time of service at 7p.m. at the Bourbonnais Chapel of the Schreffler Life Story Funeral Homes.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the College Church, 200 University Avenue Bourbonnais, IL.
