OBITUARY:

SHERWOOD, MRS. CATHERINE Grand Rapids Mrs. Catherine Sherwood, aged 84 of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, Timothy; grandson, Joseph; and daughter-in-law, Kitty. Surviving are her sons, Daniel Sherwood, Steven (Joyce) Sherwood, Thomas Sherwood; grandson, Benjamin (Kathy) Sherwood; great grandchildren, Daniel and Myrna; brothers, Peter (Joan), Henry (Gloria) and James (Dawn) Vander Velde; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., with Pastor Ken Young officiating. Her family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the services on Thursday. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.
