Dwayne and family,
I'm not sure if you will remember me but I worked in the ICU beginning in 1976. I was so sorry to hear of Kathy's death-you have been in my thoughts many, many times. Wonderful photo of Kathy-exactly how I remember her: a twinkle in her eye and a big smile, looking like she just shared a funny story with you. And she was always laughing! Just a wonderful person to work with and a wonderful person to know (and so are you Dwayne!). My deepest sympathy to all of you. Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers today and in the days ahead. Kathy Dahn

Dwayne & family,
I worked w/ Kathy in CCU and took many ACLS classes with her and you. You were both so funny together. I miss her laugh. She was a good nurse and a good gal to work with and know. Iam so sorry for your loss. I live in deep southeastern IL now so I just saw it on internet. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I feel so blessed to have know you all! I am so sorry for your loss! I will always remember that fabulous potato soup she would make us at the fire house!!! She was so proud of you both, Steve and Stacy...you could see it in her eyes!!!! Hold on to your memories!!!!! Altough gone from your eyes,,,,,never will she leave your heart!!!! Thank you for sharing her with us all! We will continue to keep you in our prayers!!!!

Dwayn and family, so sorry for your loss. Kathy was always someone I looked forward to work with. She was funny and always a joy to be with. So sorry I could not be there for the wake and the funeral . My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Dwayne and Kathy were two of the many students in my classes at Bismarck-Henning High School. I really appreciated having them in class. Very dependable and such good role models for the other students.
I can bring up your smiling faces and great attitude with ease.
I know Kathy was an excellent nurse.

Dwayne, Steve and Stacey,
We were heartbroken at the news of Kathy's passing, and are so sorry for your loss. We have so MANY special memories over 25+ years of friendship. Even Lindsay and Janna are recalling good times at your home, when our kids were young. You guys were about the only couple we DIDN'T have to edit our medical conversations with...2 paramedics and 2 nurses...great times of working together as well! Kathy was a wonderful, caring person and a dear friend, and always had a way to make you laugh or smile.
I wish we had been able to connect more often when you guys came back to town, (of course, children and grandchildren rank first place!) but I'll cherish the times we did. Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers!

It has been a long time since I worked with Kathy at Riverside. The best I remember was she made work fun even though we had tough people to help heal. If my memory holds right, she helped open up 5th floor when it was first open with CCU and telemetry units on one end and medical patients on the other end.
I am truely sorry to read about her passing and my prayers are with you family at this time.

To the family of Kathy Jo Flexser, I would like to say that I am very sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother and to us who called her a friend. Kathy loved her family and was always bragging about them and telling little stories of their childhood or talking about her granddaughter "Princess Ella", and how fast her new grandson Carson was growing. I will never forget the special times I spent with my dear friend Kathy. Whether it was sipping a glass of tea together or picking out pictures of flowers or getting locked out of her house on her back deck while sneaking a cigarette one night. I was one of her classmates in the BSN program. We along with one other student made up a study group. I enjoyed working and learning with her during our almost 2 years together in the BSN program. I have fond memories about that time in our lives. She was a special person.

We were heartbroken at the news of Kathy's passing, and are so sorry for your loss. We have so MANY special memories over 25+ years of friendship. Even Lindsay and Janna are recalling good times at your home, when our kids were young. It has been a long time since I worked with Kathy at Riverside. The best I remember was she made work fun even though we had tough people to help heal.
