Jim, Brian, Mike, Mark and Pat- I just wanted you to know it was such an honor and privilege to be able to help admit your dad into hospice and take care of him during his final days. He was blessed with a wonderful and supportive family.

Dear Brian, Mark, Mike and Jim and family,
We are so saddened by the passing of your father and our Uncle Gene. Not only do I remember the times we shared together as children in Holland but also of the memories mother and dad shared of Uncle Gene and Aunt Elaine. Uncle Gene was Best Man at mother and dad's wedding. Mother always appreciated and spoke of her gratitude that Uncle Gene would mail her letters to dad when they were apart.
Uncle Gene will be missed and his memories treasured.

I am so saddened by the loss of Uncle Gene. I will always remember his kind words and smile. Its the end of an era. He will be missed. The world just got a little dimmer. Know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and always.
