Eugene Hansen

LIFESTORY:

Eugene C. Hansen, age 85, of Zeeland, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He retired from Life Savers in 1988 after 21 years of employment.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine M. Hansen in 1994 after 47 years of marriage, and a great granddaughter, Rose Kathryn Hansen.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Mary Hansen of Bradenton, FL, Mark and Elaine Hansen of West Olive, Mike and Pat Hansen of Holland, and Jim and Kris Hansen of Eastmanville; seven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter; and his nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday January 27, 2012 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 West 13th Street in Holland.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Private Interment will take place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
