LIFESTORY:

Otto E. Jurk, 81, of Ossineke, died Saturday November 26, 2011 at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

Otto was born May 30, 1930 in Saginaw, MI to Otto and Minnie (Wagner) Jurk. He served in the National Guard. On April 1, 1950 he married Constance Limoseth in Flint, MI. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, the Alpena-Hopper Lodge #199 F&AM and loved to spend his time hunting and fishing. A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, Otto will be missed by the many lives he touched.

Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Connie, a son, Ken (Janice) Jurk of Lapeer, MI, three grandchildren; Carrie (Ben) Roberts, Stephanie (Curtis) Atwood, Lauren Jurk, three great-grandchildren; Allison, Logan, and Emily Atwood. He was preceded in death by a son, Randy in 1995 and his brother, Donald.

Otto Jurk will be at Hope Lutheran Church - Hubbard Lake, Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am with Rev. Herbert Kitzman officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Lutheran Church Building Fund.
