Leon Terry Atwell Jr., also known as T-Bone, age 45, of Holland, died Friday August 12, 2011.

Terry was born and raised in Huntington, West VA. He was a graduate of Marshall University with a B.S. in Safety and a Masters Degree in Science. He moved to Holland in 2000. While living in Holland, Terry worked for Zeichman Manufacturing as a truck driver and wood finisher. Terry was member of MVP Fitness where he enjoyed playing basketball and the Zumba dance classes. He loved to travel, enjoyed going to movies, and always loved good conversation. Terry was a faithful fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and American Idol. He loved music and played several different instruments.

Terry was a lifelong fan of Michael Jackson. Whenever Terry could, he would always have his dogs Bella and Diamond with him in the car. One of Terry’s love, was magic. He loved to do magic tricks for the kids. Holidays where very important to Terry as he loved to decorate the house for Halloween and Christmas. Terry was currently attending Ridgepoint Church in Holland.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother’s, Rebecca Kelsor and Bessie Atwell.

Surviving are: Finance’ Alesia Bicknell of Holland, son Aurelius Atwell of Dubai; mother, Mary Atwell of Huntington W. Va; father, Leon Terry Atwell Sr. “PuP” of Huntington W.Va; daughter, Samantha VanWieren of Holland; sister, Inga Atwell of Huntington W.Va; close to his heart cousins, Taaron Bouwman and Ryan Mayo; in-laws, Kelly Summers of Lafayette, IN, Keith Bicknell of Hudsonville, Mitchell Wright of Murfreesboro, TN; nieces, nephews and cousins; great niece and nephew.

Visitation will be Saturday, 1-3 pm, at the Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes Inc 188 West 32nd Street.

Family has asked for donations to be made to The Leon Terry Atwell Memorial Fund C/O Huntington Bank.
