I am a niece of Ruth and I miss her already! She was like a second mother to me.When my dad was in WW11, I was born and Ruthie helped my mom raise me

until my dad came home. She was the glue that held the family together.I will miss our monthly chats and our exchange of cards. She was always so thoughtful, helping others. She often expressed how proud she was of her sons, Glen and Phil, and beloved grandchildren, Spencer, Ian and Tera!

Ruthie and Bob were our next door neighbors in Grand Rapids and Glen was the only person our Son, John, would have sit for him in our absence....do you remember that Glen? Ruthie was always there if you needed her and couldn't have been a better neighbor. For 34 years, we have exchanged Christmas cards with an updated letter on our families and we so looked forward to hearing from her. We will miss you Ruthie and appreciated you always keeping in touch with us. God bless your boys and family.

Your friends, Sue and Charlie Fischer

I am part of the Creston 1941 lunch bunch. Actually, I have known Ruthie since at least the 3rd grade when we were both in the same Sunday School class. She will be missed very much by all of her friends. She was the "glue" that held our group together through all of the years. I don't know of anyone who will be able to fill her shoes.

My best wishes to you, Glen and Phil, she was so proud of you and your families and loved you all very much.
