Cody Russell

RUSSELL, Cody James, 20, of Alpena, died Monday August 23, 2010.

Cody was born July 31, 1990 in Alpena to Laura Johnson and Wayne Russell. Cody worked as a home health aide as well as a maintenance person, which pretty well describes the kind of person Cody was. He was a compassionate person always willing to help whenever possible. Cody enjoyed fishing and most outdoor activities. He was very charming, a bit of a “lady’s man” who loved to bring laughter to others lives, however his family and spending time with them was his greatest joy. Cody will be missed a great deal by many.

He is survived by his parents; Laura Johnson and Wayne Russell of Alpena, sister; Nicole Russell of Alpena, half brother; Michael Johnson of South Bend, IN, nephew; Jacob Roznowski of Alpena, cousins; Heather and Brian Mischloney of Alpena, grandmothers; Marlene Johnson and Gloria Russell of Alpena, and many other loving family members.

Cody Russell is at McWilliams Funeral Home- Alpena, where family and friends may gather to share memories and love for a soul that will be missed, on Saturday from 12:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev.
