Please accept my condolences and deepest sympathy to the entire family. My heart does out to you. We lived a couple houses down from Jeff on Hile Road (in the fifties). Jeff and I used to hang out in trees (he taught me to climb them) and eat berries planning where and how we would build our next fort. I truly enjoyed Jeff being part of my growing up, although I haven't had contact with him. My thoughts are with his family. Jeff will be missed .

Uncle Jeff,
I will be foever gratedful for the many blessings and memories you have bestowed apon me and so many others who were forunate enough to know you as I did. You always so graciously welcomed us in to your home and for many family gatherings, times I will treasure forever.
Some words thar come to mind as I sit here thinking about you are~compassion, loyalty, honesty, geniuine, integrity, humor. A man with such a loving heart, a sharing spirit and such uncondional love of family. Your overall appreciation and respect for the natural world was second to none. Thank you for making my world a better place bybein a part of it. Jan, my thoughts are with you at this time...you completed my uncle Jeff as in two halves that made a whole~Thank you.
You will surely be missed by many. Until we meet again. Semper-Paratus Uncle jeff. Love, Suzanne Shanty-Stuck.

Sincere condolence to the family and may God be a comfort to you at this time. Jeff would come into C.W.C. foundry with deliveries and was a nice fellow to talk with. Ron Micka (C.W.C. guard)

I remember when a group of us went canoeing. Joell and I had our own canoe. Needless to say we ran into some trouble and Jeff and my dad saved us. Jeff and dad then gave us our new name, the "Wonder Girls", they said they wondered what we were going to do next. Rest in peace Jeff and to Jan and the family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Rhonda

We met Jan and Jeff when we moved to Hendrick Rd about 4 years ago. I often saw him out in the yard doing "stuff". When I walked the dog, he would always say hello and we would chat about politics and hunting. He AND Jan faced this latest challenge with grace, optimism and above all-----dignity.
He will be greatly missed.

Art and I are so sorry to hear about Jeff. I always remember looking out the window after the storms of 1998 and seeing Jeff pulling our tree stump out of the ground with his NEW truck. We will truely miss having such a good neighbor. Jan, our prayers are with you and your family.
