Our condolences at the passing of Ellen. It was nice to read her story and get a glimpse of the person she was when she was well. We enjoyed her contagious laugh and her pleasure of the little things in life.

Where to begim there are so many memories of Ellen to share in the short time we knew her. Whenever Ellen was in the room you coould always count on a smile, dance, or just the presence of someone special. Ellen was a joy to be around and I am glad to have met her and her family. She will be missed by everyone who knew her at ROI and her Duke family.

I grew up as an extended member of the Brennan family and loved being in their home. Basking in the warmth of Ellen's presence meant that every visit was wonderful--no matter what else was happening in our lives. I have carried Ellen and all the Brennans in my Irish heart my entire life. My deepest condolences to the family--you are in my thoughts and prayers. 'Fitz'

I was fortunate to have 2 best friends during my school days. Brigid was one. Each had special sisters. I remember hearing that these extraordinary beings seem to enrich the lives of those close to them resulting in tight knit, generous, kind, loving, gentle, responsible people who are a joy and a privilege to know. I've lived to see that as the absolute truth. I credit my values and insights to families such as the Brennans. Ellen was always there, so quietly and shyly sweet. I feel blessed to have known her.

Ellen was a student in my Adult Education classes, offered by KPS at MRC, for many years, and was simply delightful!! I loved her dearly, and thought of her many times after classes were no longer provided. She often expressed how important her family was to her, and I'm sure she will be greatly missed. I will keep her in my prayers; my sincere sympathy to all of her loved ones.
