My heart goes out to Duane and Nancy. Duane, you were the best brother and friend that Dennis could have ever wished for. He was gentle giant with a big heart. He will be truly missed.

I met Dennis three years ago when i worked at Arby's on Henry street. He sat at the same table every night drinkin his diet pepsi and doin his crossword puzzle. as i got to know him i realized what a kind hearted man he was and he genuinley cared for everyone. he was never in bad mood and he always asked how my son was, he made me appreciate life a little more. In some ways Dennis made me better person. I was deeply hurt and saddened when i found out he had passed. I will miss seein him at Wal-mart, I came to the Henry street store just to see him after i left Arbys'. I will never forget him, we need more people like him, the world would be a better place.

Dennis was a close friend of mine. he and his brother duane brought a lot of joy to my childhood. He and his brother gave unselfishly to all of the kids in the neighborhood. We were very close to them growing up. I can remember hanging out on there front porch drinking soda and listening to music. We always watched wrestling together. they took us to concerts and hockey games! My life will not be the same now that you are in heaven my dear friend! yes we lost contact over the years but you guys were never far from my thoughts and prayers. I miss you my dear friend! god bless

Love

I didn't know Dennis as well as some of the others at Walmart, but what I do know is he was always kind to me and always had a nice word to say. If he saw that we we're swamped with customers, he didn't hesitate to help with any request we had. He was an asset to our team and a good man. He will be missed. RIP Dennis.

Dennis was my friend. I used to to look forward to working with him because not only was he a great worker, but he always put a smile on my face. High fives were his thing I will think I will miss that the most. I remember on this past birthday, the girls from Subway, his hangout, decorated his regular table for him. He say there on his birthday like a king. Now that same table is decorated as a memorial to him. I will always remember Dennis.

Work wont be the same. He was a quiet man but every once in a while he would say something to just crack me up. One day he was sitting in subway at work and I couldnt figure out why because he was susposed to be working. So I went and got him and he ran to the back and clocked in. He must of asked me twenty times if he was gonna get fired. I finally got tired of telling no dont worry about it, so the last time I said yes you will be fired. He looked at me and just laughed and said I know your joking with me. Yes I was and I will the good man who would do anything for anybody if they asked him. Heaven will be blessed with him.
