Cecilia Isbell

Died Saturday afternoon, March 6, 2010. Cecilia was born April 12, 1916 in Grand Rapids, Michigan a daughter of Joseph and Anna Galdys. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1963 and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald B. Isbell on July 29, 1984; and five brothers, John, Tony, Frank, Stan, and Vince. She is survived by five children, Fred (Delila) Poddig of Schoolcraft, Nancy Robinson of Blane, TN, Arlene Wagner of Kalamazoo, Bruce (Char) Isbell of Memphis, TN, and Kathy (Jeff) McIver of Norman, OK; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Chuck Galdys of Rockford, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10 o'clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday. Private burial will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery at a later date.
