Loretta Havens

HAVENS - Loretta Havens, age 84, passed away March 6, 2010. Born in Jersey City, NJ she lived for many years in Sparta, MI with husband, Curtis Redding Havens who preceded her in death in 1976. She was also preceded in death by her infant great-grandson, Timothy Curtis Havens and five of Loretta's siblings. She leaves children, Alan C. (Barbara) Havens DDS, Brent L (Susan Brown-Havens) Havens and Cheryl (Mike) Slaktoski; seven grandchildren, a sister, Frances Kondrat; a brother-in-law, John Christensen; nieces, Linda Weisenstein and Lea Spanburgh. Visitation, Tuesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m., Verdun Family Funeral Home, Belding. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding with Fr. Fred Brucker the Celebrant.
