Edson (Bud) Dingle

DINGLE - Edson Robert (Bud) Dingle, 91, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2010. He was born on October 5, 1918 in Chicago, IL. Bud was proud to have served his country in the 32nd Armored Division (Army) during WWII. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Post No. 4249, Newaygo, MI. Bud was the owner-operator of 5 Corners Service Station, Grocery and Motel in Grant, MI until retiring. He was a resident of Jacksonville Beach since 1981 and active in Kiwanis. Bud really enjoyed baseball and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He is survived by his loving family which includes his wife of 67 years, Ruth; his daughter, Carol Wells (Blain); and his granddaughters, Erin and Ashley Wells.
