OBITUARY:

DAVIS - Donald L. Davis Sr., aged 76, of Wyoming, left this earth on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. He was preceded in death by his sons, Gregory David and Donald Scott; his brothers, Alton Davis, Leo Davis; sister, Frances Weber; his parents, John and Helen Davis. Surviving are his children, Cindy (Richard) Lynema of Dorr, Roshelle (Michael) Hartsock of Wayland, Donald Jr. (Janice) Davis of Cedar Springs; grandchildren Stephanie, Alyson, Genifer, Catherine, Gregory, Victoria, Joshua, Benjamin; brothers and sister, Arthur Davis of Allegan, Robert Davis of Florida, Edward Davis of Grand Rapids, Gertrude Weber of Dorr; and numerous close friends. Donald was a member of the AMVETS Post 126 and the Retired Wyoming Senior Volunteer Patrol Unit, having served for 15 years. Committal services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Cemetery, 4100 Clyde Park SW, with Fr. Steve Rodrigo officiating. A military honor service and luncheon will follow at the Frontline Bible Church, 8283 Pfeiffer Farms Dr. SW, Byron Center, with Pastor John Lowder officiating.
