A Special thought I wanted to share about my Mom. It is not remembering her as she is, but as she was. From the the values instilled in her from her Mom and Dad, to those same values she instilled in her children. From the bonds you get from Co-Workers and Friends. To moments in time that she would have you feeling like you were the most important person at that time and nothing else was more important. From all those split seconds moments in time were she would sneak in and touch your heart. Rather if it was a get together, Christmas time or maybe it was a time at work with friends or at a Ball game at Home or on the road. Each and everyone of us has many of these moments in time that she touched our hearts deeply and we need to hold on to those moments in our own hearts and remember her for the values and warmth she radiated and we all absorbed. To all those moments in time rather if it was towards the beginning, middle or towards the end of her Life Story/Book. These are the moments we need to cherish in our hearts. She will be greatly missed by all, but she will always live on in our hearts.
In Loving Remembrance from her son, Jeff.

One memory that comes to mind about my Aunt is... Her blue IROC, she loved that car...a Fourth of July tradition of course is going to the parade, I remember watching the parade and as soon as it was over, we had to pack up as quick as we could get in her blue IROC and we would follow behind the last float, she and my mom would be beeping the horn and waving at people still sitting out watching the end of the parade, just a laughing...tellin us kids to wave...There was no way we were waving. Then when it came time for her to leave, we'd be able to hear her beeping her horn as she drove away well after we were able to see her.

Thank You for the flowers @ my play. Thank You for the "Fun" ride down "Ticklebelly" Hill. You know what I mean.

When I think of Joanne and her visits to the U P, the first memory is stopping at TOGO's to get a sub sandwich and then a trip to the "island" to drive around.
Joanne also had a love of dishes. I don't know how many sets of dishes she bought up here, but I do remember the time her car was packed to the top but she still managed to get the extra pieces packed in. Her favorite Fiesta plate was the yellow one, that meant she was going to have a happy day.
