I was a caregiver for Bob and Gerry from summer of 2006 until around November or December of that year. I have thought about them often over the years, and am sorry to have recently learned of their passing. I loved them both very much and greatly enjoyed the time I spent with them. In fact, they are a big reason for my decision to become a nurse! Gerry was an inspiration for me to study more on dementia and I even included my experience working with her in a college paper I wrote last year. Bob and Gerry were such kind and loving individuals. I enjoyed talking with Bob about their lives, and I miss listening to Gerry sing along to Roger Whittaker :) They both had a big impact on my life and will forever hold a special place in my heart. I miss them, but am happy that they are now in a better place with our Lord.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I have fond memories of her as I was growing up. She always seemed so "comfortable" in her life, and I enjoyed seeing both your parents. They always livened up our get togethers.

I'm sorry to hear of the death of your mom, Tom and mother-in-law, Linda. I enjoyed seeing her collection of little tea pots in the church dispay case. I'll be thinking of you both at this sad time.
