Perry a very good friend, did very well in life, to children, grandchildren and wife. Kathy. Also to nephew Dan. Worked hard, played hard ( we were champions one year of wooden shoe league) We shared millwright schooling and workbench. We shared shop humor and frugal tips. Perry to me was always the real deal Upfront realistic and a very good man a veteran and good friend till the end. My sincerest best wishes to all left behind. Perry having somewhat of a dutch background as myself. I am saying a small duch prayer: Blijf bij mij Heer de avond is nabij, de dag verduistert Here blijf bij mij (Perry)

Perry, my friend. Who always made me feel welcome and warm. A true friend and man of God. I will miss your smile that embraced us all, your hug that made the day, and the love you shared for all.

Dear Kathy And Family,
I am so sorry for your loss, I know now that he is a better place.
It was a pleasure to have worked with Perry at both Hydro and Hart & Cooley. He was a person I could always trust and depend on. Whenever I think Of my career, Perry always comes into my mind. He will be missed.
He was a true American, may God bless and keep you.

Dear Cousin Perry:
My fondest memories of you were when we were young and played baseball and basketball accross the street from where we both lived from Washington School. My brothers and you and Leslie had some spririted games in those days and I shall never forget how much I enjoyed watching you play basketball for Holland High. You were a kind and wonderful person and cousin and I shall never forget you and your kindness. May you rest for all eternity in God's care.
Love and miss you dear cousin

Dearest Aunt Kathy and family: My favorite memory of Uncle Perry is cheese sandwiches: a thick slice of velveeta cheese spread with cream cheese and topped with velveeta again. My family shares Perry's "mouse genes" in our love of cheese, also. Love you all and God bless you too.

Kathy,
I am sorry for your loss.
When I think of Perry I always smile.
I remember going over to your home to help him in the garden, and when we were done we would go inside and he would take some peanut butter, melt it in the microwave, and then pour it over ice cream. ( what is it with peanut butter, eh sis? ) Good stuff, good times, and whenever I think of Him I see him with a big smile on his face! -Kevin

Dear Kathy, may the Lord comfort you in your sorrow. Not sure if you remember me, but Perry and I played softball together about 30 years ago with Eddie Silva's team. I thought the world of him. Blessings in Christ, ken, (now a grey-haired preacher)

I'm so sorry for your the loss of a wonderful man, husband, father. I have so many memories of Perry that it would make a book, so I'll just mention a few:
Peanutbutter shakes!! Yummm Can't make one w/o thinking of him!
Having Perry sing "Sherry baby" to me after a nite out on the town. "Come on Shari dance with me!!"
naming my sister Marcy, Marshmellow!!
Being there so MANY times when I needed a shoulder to cry on and figure out life!
Giving me a GREAT BIG hug when I told you I was going to have a baby!! "So what, it's a gift from God so enjoy it!"
I will always thank God for him and Kathy and the girls in my life! Can't say where or what I would have been with out the love and support you gave! I love you all!!!
