Duane Willin

OBITUARY:

Passed away on November 14, 2009 at Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo. Duane was born on May 7, 1930 in Kalamazoo, MI the son of the late Lawrence and Wilma May (Pasch) Willin. Duane was a Veteran having served in the US Army. He enjoyed playing cards, bargain hunting and going to garage sales. Duane was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Willin on July 19, 2006; a daughter, Linda VanderKamp on July 30, 2009; a brother, Cyril D. Willin and a sister, Norma Ellis. Duane is survived by a son, Gerald Willin and a daughter, Vicky (Casey) Kopec all of Portage; five grandchildren: Jennifer, Erik, Holly (T.J.), Andrew and Ashley; three great -grandchildren: Abigail, Evan and Aaron; a sister, Diane (Donald) East of Portage and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. (269) 343-6156. Where Funeral Services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM. Pastor Barb VanEck officiating. Entombment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Kairos Dwelling.
