We are blessed to now enjoy in our home the sweet kittie, Megan, shown in the main photo. I am sure Megan gave Eleanor many happy times and companionship.
Our prayers are with your family!

I don't have a memory because I didn't know her. However, I do know Karen and I enjoyed reading Eleanor's life story and feeling like I got to know her a little bit. It's special to read of someone's life who loved her children and gave herself to them. Special to read of a woman's life and to see how God took her through that life planned out for her. She is an example for me on how to love my family. Thank you for sharing her life with me!

Mort and Karen,
Your Mom was a very nice lady and she always made me feel welcome. I especially liked it when I had dinner with your family and we all held hands and said a prayer. I was also impressed that the milk came right from the cow. My deepest sympathy on the loss of a kind and caring lady.

Eleanor was such a nice person. She always had a smile on her face. She will be missed.

Although I hadn't seen my Aunt in quite a few years, when she came to my Dad's funeral, it was like no time had passed at all. She still looked the same to me and was just a big ball of energy. I had to laugh when she practically sprinted across the airport road to get to the parking lot. She didn't want to hold up any cars while she was crossing! That memory has stayed with me all this time and it makes me smile whenever I think of her. I've been thnking about her lately and I will miss the chance to see her again. I know that my Dad is happy to see her in heaven.

It was always a pleasure to see this devoted lady walking around the chruch each Sunday, doing her volunteer jobs. It is those "behind the scene" people that make an organization run so smoothly, and Eleanor was no exception in her role. Each of my children were blessed with the support of people like Eleanor, who served the church in the Caravan program. The Pilgrim church family will miss her, but remember the fine lady and friend of so many years.
