Robert Dockery

DOCKERY (Rockford) - Mr. Robert Dockery, age 76, passed away on Sunday morning, November 15, 2009. During the Korean War he was a military police officer in the U. S. Air Force. Robert was a Michigan State Police Trooper and later worked for the Department of Corrections. He was preceded in death by his wife, Matilda "Tillie" Dockery. He is survived by his daughter, Kelli and Dr. Paul Kovack of Belmont, and Troy Dockery of East Leroy; step-children, Dawn and John Felsing, Mike and Kathy McLoughlin, Gerianne Bovee, James "Jim" A. Dunn; grandchildren, Connor Kovack, Macklyn Kovack, Nathan Dockery, Madison Dockery; and his constant companion, "Zoe." Honoring Robert's request, cremation has taken place with a memorial service at a later date.
