I met Mrs.Dee at a party at her house many years ago. She just sat by the fire and talked to anyone about anything. We started talking about golf and man did she have a love for it. We talked for more than an hour about courses and it was really cool to listen to her share her stories. She invited me to go with her and she'd teach me how to play like a pro and she wouldn't take no for an answer, she hugged you like you were family and it was real.

She is an awesome Lady and will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jenny and Jeff and their families in this time of grief and our family sends our Love to you all.

My Dad (Jim Wesoloski) and Dick were like brothers. They were friends since they were very young. So Dick and Sue were like an Aunt and Uncle to me and my siblings. I fondly remember they always came to my Grandparents house for Christmas Eve. And that was very Special! We all had a very close and loving bond with both of them! And even though we live across state, Sue would make the trip for special occasions, because that was just the way she was! And if you mentioned that you appreciated her traveling so far, she would say, "You know I love you darlin!" We love you Sue and you will be greatly missed by all of us!

Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all!

Love, Kelly, Andrew & Anna

Duane and I have known Sue and Dick for many years as well as his folks, Glenn & Freida. What a wonderful family they were. Sue always had a smile on her face and a pleasant hello to everyone she passed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mike and his extended family at this time and we are so sorry for your loss.

I met both Dick and Sue when I was a little kid in Boone. My Dad Don Engnell and Dick were Air Force buddies. I always loved when Sue would call my sister and I darlin, in that southern drawl of hers. When my husband passed away, Sue drove back from Michigan to Boone to be with me. She was a big part of my family and our lives and will be deeply missed. My family and I drove to Michigan to be with Sue in October and it was great sharing memories with her. Her last words to me were don't remember the tears remember the good times, which is what I'm going to do. I love you so very much Sue!!

I first met Sue at States in the Tuesday night league...well over 20 years ago. Being a "newbie" I was a little intimidated by Sue and her partner....but I learned laughter could make a huge difference. It broke the ice, and it made for a wonderful run of golf and friendship. Sue always made it a point to hang out after league with us "young" girls and take part in our lives. She truly cared and had funny stories to share. Many laughs & tears later, I know she is sitting next to the love of her life, Dick, and looking down as an angel upon her family that she loved with all her heart and soul. We will miss you Suzie Q.....and we will remember fondly our wonderul times of friendship, fun and life lessons that you gave us. Cheers to you Sue Dee....some thought your name was... one word ( :-) ) we who knew you, knew better. God Speed my friend.
