Christmas is right around the corner and I cant help but remember the fun time we shared with Kamren in 2008. I am wishing I had done more of these things in the past with Kamren...Kamren spent part of his Christmas Break with my boys and I in Indiana. He helped me make dinner, watched movies with us, and even enjoyed a day/night at the waterpark in Indianapolis before we went back to MI. He was so happy during this time I had vowed we would do this every Christmas Break and make it a tradition. Unfortunatley we never made it to the next Christmas...I will always have the memory and expierence of that "one" time...and I will cherish every moment I get with my nieces, nephews and my children from here on out. Thank you Kamren for showing me the happy side of you that Christmas! I love you and will always miss you sweetheart...

Hey big boy, I'm sorry that I have not been to see you or write to you in quit sometime. I have however thought about you every single day! I really missed at Christmas! Jaelynn does not get as excited as you did. I think it is because she is so young and dosn't understand like her big brother does. I really missed seeing you big bright eyes on Christmas morning with all the presents under the tree and that santa had come to fill your stocking. I also missed all the loudness you would put out on Christmas morning, even though it drove mommy crazy!
I miss you so so much sweetheart! I would love it if you would come and see me. I know that it is just as hard for you as it is for me. I really think that I need you to come to me with a great big smile and bright eyes so I know that you are happy. Baby you know that if you cant do it by yourself you can have Aunt Lorna, Great Grandpa Engel, or even Great Grandma Truax come with you to help you through it. Just remember mommy is not mad at you and that I love you more than this entire world and forever.
Well baby boy, my little booba, Give all of our family that you are with hugs and kisses from mommy and Jaelynn and know you are always in my thoughts!
Sweetdreams baby! Love Mommy

I am really sorry that I wasn't with you in the time of need. I will remember and cherish all the times I was with you and one day I will be with you again. Its just a matter of time. Well as you may already know, Mpmmy, grandma and the neighbor Karen have been packing things in the house. Mommy and Jaelynn are moving in with grandma and grandpa. Today was the hardest day of packing! I went into your room and started going through things and just broke down. I miss you horribly and still trying to get through theses days with out you. Christmas this year is a real drag without you to help put the ornements on the tree. I did get you a new wooden snowman this year.
Riley is missing you bad. He laid on your bed all day and was yelling me to pay attention to him, Gee even BooBookitty wasnyelling at me. Pretty funny hu! I can fel you laughing about that. Grandpa spent 10 days in the hospital. He came home on Friday. What happened is that his bad leg got an infection in it and he got real sick from it. Soon mommy will be over at grandmas to take care of grandpa. I now have to take over and help Granny shovel Alpaca poop! Laugh it up little man!
Well mommy better get some sleep! I love you forever baby boy! Hugs and Kisses!

Hi my sweet boy,
I have a question to ask you and I hope that someday you will be able to tell mommy if it is a true story. Rememder the Chineese Fighting Fish that Jan and Ron had (Lucy), well that fish passed away the same day that you went to Heaven. Mommies question is; did you take Lucy the fish with you? If you did that is so wonderful. Do you know how much that I miss you? I love you so much little man. Sissy is missing you too. She looks for you and says, "Bubby, Bubby." I don't remember if mommy told you that Jaelynn and I are moving out of our house. Jaelynn and I can't live there anymore since you are not there.
You know what I would really like? I would like for you, when your ready, to show me that you are happy and that you are better. I want to see the sparkle in your eyes that you always had when you were the happiest. I also want to see that big beautiful smile that you would give when you were being a silly boy.
Have you been rididng your bike and showing Jesus how to golf? I bet you are having so much fun baby!
Just remember that I will always love you no matter what. You are still my life and I will never let that go. I love baby!

I have so many good memories of fun things we did together. I remember you trying to help Grandpa R. fix mommy's door. You wanted to use the drill and it was almost as big as you! I remember you and Grandpa R. working in his shop building your boat and you did the clean up by sweeping all the saw dust up. You did good! I'll always remember your beautiful smile and big pretty eyes.
Grandpa and I miss you so much, but you'll always be in our hearts

I did not know Kamren personally. I work with Caitlyn at One West. I just wanted to let the famiy know that I share their pain. I know this type of pain as I have lost a child myself. Should you ever need someone to talk to, cry on, vent to or just scream at, please don't hesitate to get ahold of me.
From the stories I've read and heard, he sounds like he was a vibrant, happy and full of life young man. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him, and those of us that didn't.
I know this is little comfort for you right now, but please trust and know that Kamren is in a good place now. He will no longer ever have to feel pain or sadness of any kind. And, he will always be watching over you until the day the good Lord calls you to his side.
God Bless and don't ever hesitate to contact me should you need someone that has suffered the loss of a child.

Donna,
It's been an absolute delight to have worked with your son for the past two years. Sadness could be turned to gladness with one of Kamren's unforgettable smiles.
As a teacher, I'm always striving to educate and be a positive influence in the lives of children, but your son made an influence on ME.
I can't thank you enough for allowing me to be part of your Kamren's life. What a blessing. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God bless.

this past summer scott and I had gone on a fishing trip..Scott had Caught a 30in Pike and a 18in large mouth bass. While at home next door to Kamren. Kamren had noticed scott was doing something near the boat and was of course curiouse. So scott showed him the big fish.Kamren was so Amazed and excited to see them.So scott took the bass out and this scared Kamren so he ran a couple trailers down. we laughed. So scott tried to get kamren to hold the fish. he said no it would bite him. So scott showed him how to hold it and put the fish near him. So Kamren yelled and ran farther down. Scott gave up on that and decided to show him the big pike. which does in fact have teeth. Kamren couldn't believe the size of the fish. Scott didn't dare use his fingers so kamren found a little twig so scott could open his mouth to show him the teeth. While he was sticking the twig in the fishes mouth it bit the twig breaking it and this too made Kamren run yelling. He had so muc fun with those fish. He will always be in our thoughs while out on the sunny days fishing. For we could see it would have been somthing Kamren would have come to enjoy. So we will always remeber him running from those fish. Laughing the whole time.

Kamren,
Thanks for the smiles, the stories, and the laughter. I hear your precious giggle every time I think of you, and it always brings a smile to my heart. You always showed such caring and love to your friends and family, and I will always treasure my memories of you. Rest in peace my little friend.
Donna,
I've known your son for a little over three years, and I am so greatful for my time with him. He loved you so much, and I can still remember how proud he was, showing off his "new baby sister." Remember all the fond memories and hold them close to your heart. He was a special boy.

I read about this on the news website. I am so very sorry for your loss. I cannot even begin to imagine what you're going through. From the things I have read on here your son obviously made a very big impression on everyone. His pictures show a child of great beauty and obviously a very happy young man. I just want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My heart just breaks for you.

Kameron I hurt really bad. You have been one of my best buddies. Whenever I was at my grandparents, I knew you would be at your grandpaernts too. We would always play together with our trucks in the dirt. Even when we wern't at there houses we still hung out when we could. We would always be doing something. Kameron loves mac and cheese. He would always make me laugh. I missed you a lot when we had to move to Indiana and I always looked forward to hang out with you when I came to visit. I'm really going to miss you. You were a great buddy. Dougie!

When I think of Kamren I recall so much laughter and joy. Kamren was so caring towards others and would take the time to listen to his friends. He was such a genuinely loving child and was always looking to help in any way. I will cherish the times I spent with him during the 3 years I knew him and I will always remember his vibrant smile. My thoughts are with his family now and I found a quote that I felt suited the loss of our dear Kamren:
"Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Crossover to the other shore
There is peace forevermore..."

Kamren I missed you today ~ You didn't meet me at the driveway : ( You and I saying "hi" to eachother. You asking me if I need help. Remember last summer when you sat at the pool with me...me inside of it and you sitting in your chair that you went back home for because you didnt want to make my water dirty. You and I could talk for hours....about anything : ) The time that you helped me transplant my flowers you didnt want me to have to do any of the hard stuff ....such a gentleman. And that spider!! You weren't afraid ~ I later learned that you hate spiders HA! You showed me no fear that day.
Kamren ~ I know I will watch for you everyday. It will take me some time to get used to the fact that you won't be there to meet me. I do know that one day I will see you again ~ until that day.. "You behave"

I liked to play football with Kamren when I was at my dad's house, and he was a good friend. We used to play in his swimming pool. We liked to ride bikes together, and go to the park. He was a lot of fun. I only have a few friends at my dad's house, since I am not there all the time, and I will miss my friend a lot.
Me and my family will keep on praying for his mom, to not be too sad, and I know that Jesus is taking good care of him now.
Good Bye, Kamren.

Kamren was the most special boy I have ever known and I have a never ending love for him. He was one of my many nephews. Looking back over the past years, I can't just choose one certain memory. One is just this past summer going to Michigan's Adventure with him. His eyes sparkled and he was SO happy. Also, we shared a love for macaroni and cheese. Him and I were the noodle twins.

My dearest Kamren<
I miss you so very much and I wish you were still here with me and your sister, whom seems to be taking your place of driving mommy crazy! the one thing that I miss about the most! I also wish that I could hear you ask me one more time "Mommy do you love me!" Baby I love you so much that it hurts! Even though you and i fought every day, I miss that noise. I wish that you were here to call me every nasty name in the book, cause then I could hold you and never let go! You are and always be Mommies special little man! I love you my sweet baby! Love mommy

Donna,
There are no words to adequately express my sympathy for you and your family but the biggest hug is with you right now. That is exactly what I would/will do when I see you. I remember your loving stories of Kamren when we saw each other at work and how much compassion and love you gave him. He will carry that with him in heaven.
My deepest condolences..

"He'll bring his smiles to gladden you,
And should this stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief."

Donna-
I read about this on the news website. I am so very sorry for your loss. I cannot even begin to imagine what you're going through. From the things I have read on here your son obviously made a very big impression on everyone. His pictures show a child of great beauty and obviously a very happy young man. We never know or understand why God takes the young ones.
I just want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My heart just breaks for you.
May God bless you.

Donna,
I am so, so sorry. Know that Kameron is now with our Lord and watching over you and your family ( he might even be teaching my grandson how to skateboard). I didn't get to spend much time with him & you over the years, but from what I saw at the family reunions, he was a great kid...know that you are in my heart and prayers.
I love you,

How privileged I am to have taken care of your very special young man while he was with us in the PICU.
Kamren ~ I will miss

I liked to play football with Kamren when I was at my dad's house, and he was a good friend. We used to play in his swimming pool. We liked to ride bikes together, and go to the park. He was a lot of fun. I only have a few friends at my dad's house, since I am not there all the time, and I will miss my friend a lot.
Me and my family will keep on praying for his mom, to not be too sad, and I know that Jesus is taking good care of him now.
Good Bye, Kamren.

Kamren was an amazing and loving kid. Any room he walked into he comanded the attention from everyone but that was perfect because he always had a story to keep you entertained. My most recent memory (among many) was from this summer when we went as a family to Binder park zoo.. Grandma, Jaelynn and Kamren were sitting in front of us and I loved watching the amazement he showed from everything he saw.. He was always so intrigued by things around him. I was there for him until the very end and I will never ever forget him.
