Sophie Buckowing

BUCKOWING - Sophie Buckowing, aged 85, of Wyoming, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, November 2, 2009 while surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara. Sophie will be lovingly remember by her husband of 61 years, Edward; her children, Bob and Gerry Buckowing, Doug and Deb Buckowing, Donna and Ray Czurak, Tom Buckowing and fiancee, Trish; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Pendrick of Arizona; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 6, at Kentwood Christian Church, 5841 Kalamazoo Ave. S.E., with Rev. Patrick Gill officiating.
