I only got to meet you and momma 3 years ago. Right away the two of you made me feel like a part od the family. I cant believe you were the one that had to go. There are so many others out their that deserved to go but not you man. I will miss the fishing trips the cookout all the commaradere . I will never forget the type of man that you were . You are a great example for how a man should be. You were a great friend and always did what you could to help aubrey and i out. Playing 31 or texas hold em online will never be the same. I was always happy to help around the house when i came over. I knew their was a reason Aubrey and I went to see you Halloween night. I never really got to thank you for the long talk we had the eventually lead to Donny and I putting our differences to the side. You were right Lenny we are like family and family sticks together. Heidi misses you we all do there will always be a space in our hearts for you . Your memory will carry on. Thank you ity for everything, and if Hiedi ever calls for help whether it be house work, yard work,etc... we will be there.

Hello to the family and to let you know Leonard was so loved here in Chicago. He was one of the guys around Lawerence and kenmore, his brother Dale & russell was as well a true freind, God why, with Leonard gone now we alsso lost Claude Edwards as well. To really trueto heart guys. Even though he has been gone from Chicago, so long, I have never stopped thinking about him. God bless you all, it's so nice to know we all him in life. Leonard you will be missed we all love you always and forever.

Was it realy time for you to leave? I can't believe it was! You were such a stable part of allof our lives, what are we gonna do without you? You have so many people that love you. I knew I loved you but I guess I didn't realize how much. You've always been there for me when I needed you.
You had such good morals and always tried to instill them in my children when we were with you. We all looked up to you who are we gonna look up to now? who are we gonna call when we need help or advice? Now aunt heidi is so lost without you, Eva and Emily are being fairly strong now and i will be thre for them always when they needed. What else is family for? I would have done anything to keep you here because so many people need you. there are a couple of songs I think of now that bring tears to my eyes. They are wish you were here by: pink floyd and lonely day by: system of a down. I will always love and miss you!

Lenny you were always there for me and Donny!! Anything I ever needed you would make sure Donny did it, or you would do it! Those summer bbq's or beach trips just arent gonna be the same without you!! The kids are always gonna miss you sayin "to the park"! It breaks my heart to see heidi without her best friend. You always treated me like I was one of your kids, whether something needed fixin or we were short on a bill, we were hungry you would make sure we ate! You were like the dad I never had!! I love you and will miss your company so much! Sittin on the porch swing talkin shit, or runnin to southside to get some oldstyle! My husband will never be the same with you gone, you had a very big influence on him, and you always made sure he treated me right, and I thank you for that. Don't worry now its time for us to take cae of Heidi, Em, &Beva! We love you and you will be dearly missed!! Love Angelica

Heidi and family: Words cannot express the sadness in my heart that I feel for each of you. I do know that while tragedy abounds here on earth, a joyous and wonderful party awaits us all in heaven. I'm sure Leonards family were there to meet him and my parents are probably sharing a cold one with him now. (Dad's probably arguing baseball--Dad was a Cubbies Fan). Please remember that they never really leave us. Look for Leonard in the small things of life. Those things that he liked. He will always be around you. I Love you Heidi. You are my bestest friend!!! i always remember going to the beach and ity would drift away for hours at a time and then come back and tell me he went to the other side of the lake. He was always their for all of us and i will truley miss him i love you ity!!!!!
