Aunt Joyce was such a sweet lady.I used to love to go to Aunt Joyce/Uncle Ralph's house with my family. Sally and I would play games from their huge game closet-and then Uncle Ralph would let us climb up on the logging truck! One winter when we had an ice storm-we got to stay with them for a week-Aunt Joyce taught me how to crochet-I then taught my Mom who loved to crochet the rest of her life. Aunt Joyce also made homemade bread and had me try peanut butter and honey on the bread toasted-it was great.
I can picture my Mom and Aunt Joyce chit-chatting and crocheting up in heaven, rocking in a rocking chair and being arthritis free!!!
To my cousins Diane, Dennis,Sally,Tim, and Jeannie-you had such wonderful parents that loved you so much-they are both a part of each of you and their love will always be present in your heart! love,Norma

Joyce was certainly a wonderful and loving mom to one of my best friends - Diane. She welcomed me into her home for several sleep overs and suppers, and I have many happy memories of her cooking such delicous dishes that we had never had at my home, but which I have learned to add to my menu as a mom and grandma....especially remember the popovers, which remain one of my own family's favorites! She also kept a clean and fun home which I loved to visit. She treated everyone of her children's friends the same, with Christian love and set an example for all of us as to what a Christian mother should exemplify. She is with our Lord now and I know she will add her beautiful atributes to her new mansion in Heaven. It is an honor to have known this sweet lady. I know she has left a legacy for all of us to aspire to!

My grandma is so deeply missed! What a beautiful person with a heart of gold. She is in Heaven now in the presence of God, and she is with my grandpa. What an awesome place to be. I'm still trying to grasp the idea that she is gone, and even though I'll miss her, I have peace in knowing she is happy again. They lived their lives as Christians and this is what it's all about and what they lived for. My grandma carried herself with dignity, and grace, and a faith that everyone should strive for. I can only hope to be half the person she was. I love you grandma and I will miss our coffee time! Heidi

Joyce was my "other mother"growing up. Both her and Ralph are such a big, important, unforgettable part of my childhood. My heart goes out to the family, especially Jeannie, my dearest, sweetest friend. Thank you for sharing your parents with me, so I could have my first camping experience, first time seeing the Mackinac Bridge, first and only trip to Disney World, and so much more. I have never known such a loving family, and feel blessed to have been a part of that love. Now the two of them are together again, hallelujah! God Bless.
