I knew Bill through Rich Westhoff and son Joel, and spent many days of my late teens and early twenties at Stan's, enjoying a Frosty or two. We went hunting in Montague on several occasions and I cherish the memories I shared with Bill. I haven't seen him in years, but I always enjoyed his "straight forward" approach to life. He wasn't out to impress anyone, he was just Bill. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We were classmates in Spring Lake and Grand Haven. I have informed our high school classmates of Bill's passing. He will be missed.

YEARS AGO BILL AND HIS FATHER WERE FORMER NEIGHBORS
and i always enjoyed visiting with them i will not be able to attend bills service,but please know that my thoughts and prayers will be with all of you hopefully bill is at peace now
i forgot to mention that we both lived in springlake at the time that we were neighbors, my sympathy to his widow and all of his family love & prayers stan smart
