I will always remember the summer Joey and I came and stayed with you for 5 days. I had so much fun. I loved the old toy box you had. Joey and I still talk about your cookies. We ask mom to make them, but hers do not taste like yours did.
Thank you for being such a good great grandma.
Love Carly

While I was pageant the second time grandma had been sick. She was in the hospital. I had called her one night and grandpa was still in her room. I talked with him and asked for her. I know she did not feel good at all because she was fussing up a storm. When I got her on the phone she was asking me when the baby was due, I told her in two more months. She said it was a exciting time for us and asked if Carly was ready for a little brother or sister. So I put Carly on the phone to talk to her grandma-great of course Carly said she was ready and wanted a brother. Grandma then asked me if I had a name picked out yet. I did for another girl, and was tossing around names for a boy. She made the comment that with her name being Josephine no one would ever name a baby after her. That is when I made up my mind that if it would be a baby boy I would name him Joseph, So now everyone knows who my Joey is named after. Joey loves his name and tells everyone that he is named after his grandma-great.
