Gerald Mutchler

Gerald E. Mutchler, age 81, of Hudsonville, went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 17, 2008. He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Mutchler Jr. and sisters, Geraldine Mutchler and Dorene Mutchler. He is survived by his children, Sharon (Dave) Elenbaas, Steven Mutchler, Larry Mutchler and Karen (Thomas) Fridsma; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie St. SW. The family will receive relatives and friends 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services on Thursday. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Gerald proudly served in WWII aboard the USS Chauncey. After returning from the war he owned and operated Mutchler Pipe Organ Company.
